The Plant Sale at the Home & Garden Idea Fair is sponsored by the Specialty Nursery Association of Clark County
Set up officially begins Wednesday, April 22nd. Vendors may request to begin as early as Tuesday if desired. Please contact us by Friday, April 17th for early set up approval. In order to assist you better, your nursery name will be taped to booth spaces upon your arrival. Booth space dimensions are also listed on the map. Sizes are approximate.
BOXES are complimentary for event attendees and will be available at the main entrance. We will be ordering the same 16x12x2.5 again this year with the option to buy in for a lower the cost. We have placed our order for the show at 22 cents a box - with additional qualities the price goes down so if you would like to add onto our order for your nursery please let us know by March 30th. Any left over boxes will be available for sale at the close of the show. Please let us know ASAP if you are interested, they go fast.
Please check in at the plant building office (little red shed) upon your arrival. Set up hours are listed below. SNACC staff will be available to assist you during those hours. Please note: Staff may not be available Wed. & Thu. between the hours of 1pm & 3:30pm. If you feel you may need assistance during set up please plan accordingly.
Spaces will be clearly labeled with each vendor name. Corners are clearly marked on the floor with tape.
Passes will be available for pick up Mon. April 20th @ 1:00pm AND Wed. & Thur., April 22nd & 23rd from 8am-1pm & 3:30pm-8pm at the plant sale building office.

SNACC’s office (little red shed) will be located next to the plant holding area and will be open during set up hours for check in/vendor information and during show hours for lost & found, customer emergencies, reservations and payments, etc.
On the Road tour: Organic Columbia Gorge Growers
WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners Presents: Organic Columbia Gorge Growers On the Road Tour on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 8:00AM to 5:30PM. Gallivant through the scenic Columbia River Gorge for a tour of Azure Standard, Analemma Winery and Columbia Blossom Organic Orchard to learn how organic fruits and vegetables are grown using biodynamic farming, as well as aggressive natural pest control practices. The tour will meet at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which is located at 9319 NE Hwy 99, Hazel Dell, Washington. Cost: $30. Lunch: On your own at Cousins, The Dalles. Grow a “Greener” Green Lawn:
WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners and Clark County Environmental Services Presents: Grow a “Greener” Green Lawn on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10 AM at the Cascade Park Community Library, 600 NE 136th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684. Learn from Weston Miller, Associate Professor and Extension Agent for Oregon State University, the latest ways to establish, renovate and maintain turf that meets your needs. Get time-tested tips practiced by golf course superintendents for mowing, mulching, watering and managing weeds without toxic chemicals. Discover eco-lawns and learn where to get more information on low-input lawn care. Cost: Free. No registration necessary.
Get Growing: Introduction to Vegetable Gardening
WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners Presents: Get Growing – Introduction to Vegetable Gardening. This educational series includes two class sessions: an interactive classroom session on Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 9AM to 2:30PM at the Luke Jensen Sports Complex and a fully hands-on greenhouse session on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 9AM to 2:30PM at the 78th Street Heritage Farm where participants will work in small groups to start their own cool and warm weather crops to take home. Students will also receive a copy of Mel Bartholomew’s All New Square Foot Gardening book. This two-part workshop is geared toward those with little or no gardening experience and teaches you how to grow delicious, fresh and healthy vegetables using organic gardening techniques. From seed to harvest, participants will learn about soil preparation, site planning, crop selection, irrigation, and pest and disease management using the Square Foot Garden technique. Cost: $35. Lunch: Bring a brown bag lunch. Coffee/tea provided. Online registration is required at http://bpt.me/1148195 .
