Native Plant Seminars

Native Plant Seminars / Plant Walk on Summer Saturdays for 2009 (with more to come in the late fall). Seminars take place from 9:45 am until 12:30 pm in the Bill deWeese Classroom at the lovely Hoyt Arboretum in Portland. For $25 you get two informative PowerPoint slide shows, about an hour each, followed by a little plant walk (to look at natives, and some weeds, too) around the Hoyt Visitor's Center. Coffee, tea and snacks are provided. Copies of the encyclopedia and selected native plants will also be available for sale. You can pay at the door, but give me a call or e-mail in advance to reserve a seat. Cash, checks, Visa and Master Card are all accepted. Here's the schedule of seminars:
